CONCLUSION:

More and more users are connecting to the Internet like never before. Technological skills are a necessity in today’s society, with the Internet and Web design making an enormous impact on communication and users worldwide. Numerous job opportunities require a basic computer background, yet combining Web design knowledge ensures a greater edge regarding competition in the workplace. The Web offers such exciting, challenging, and unique capabilities, which make learning fun.

Working through this module should have given students the basic skills needed to create a simple Web page using common applications most students learn in a basic college computer course. Hopefully, students will have noticed that the second activity built upon those skills learned in the first activity, for the creation of a final product. All content learned in this module must be combined with further learning to motivate those interested in keeping up with the trends in technology. As I end this module, I remember starting out my computer skills on the beginning level, and find the following statement by an anonymous author humorous, “Who is ‘General Failure’ and why on earth is he reading ‘drive C:\’?” (http://www.brillianet.com)
