Creation of a Web Page Including Interactivity

Suggested Teaching Strategies:
  • Level of Difficulty: Intermediate
  • Students will need printed copies of the procedure.
  • This activity can be given in a class lab situation with the instructor/students working together, students can be placed in groups for cooperative learning, or the assignment can be given as independent homework.
  • This activity assumes a general knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet.

Time Commitment:
This activity can be completed in a 1½ hour period.

Materials:

  • Computer (Windows 98 or 2000 Operating System) with Internet access
    Internet connection
  • Microsoft Office 2000 packaging software (Word and Excel)
  • Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4.78
